Quilt art, sometimes known as art quilting, is an art form that uses traditional quilting techniques to create art objects. Practitioners of quilt art create it based on their experiences, imagery, and ideas rather than traditional patterns. Quilt art generally has more in common with the fine arts than it does with traditional quilting. This art is meant to be hung on a wall, though exceptions exist.

I would call the Bellegio in Las Vegas and see if they can refer you to a spa-message place in town or they may have a masseuse at their location. This would be a relaxing time for them both to spend an hour each of total relaxation, and this would be in your price range. How about a timeline collage demonstrating the changes in American during that period? Between Columbus discovery of the New World and the Presidency of Grover Cleveland, you saw the colonizing of America, its revolution, creation of the Constitution, and Westward expansion. On the technological side, you had railroads, electric lighting, the invention of the scissors you will probably use in part to make the collage, the pocket watch, the calendar, steam engine, telescopes/microscopes. You can also examine the changes in art, social attitudes, etc.The big advantage of a collage is you can do so many things with it to make it visually appealing from the simple (cutting out/pasting pictures representing items) to the trickier (drawing/pain [cont.*]Answered by Greg R - Mon Oct 1 10:26:17 2007
