A characteristic of embroidery is that the basic techniques or stitches of the earliest work—chain stitch, buttonhole or blanket stitch, running stitch, satin stitch, cross stitch—remain the fundamental techniques of hand embroidery today. I hate the embroidery. I would like to undo this but it is almost impossible without damaging the fabric. Unpicking it is a tedious job and I wondered if there was a better way. Thanks. Here is a youtube video on it's use: These are pretty pricey though. You can also use a moustache trimmer if you have access to one of those. You would use it upside down. If those ideas don't work, how about making some sort of patch to cover the embroidery? You don't say how big they are. Q. I want to do some delicate crocheting but not SUPER delicate...I want it to be more firm than then embroidery floss guage, or tatting/thread crochet. The larger the number the smaller the size of thread. Most doilies are made with size 10. Answered by jennylynn4ou - Wed Jan 14 13:45:17 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Embroidery"
