From Google News Search: "Recreation" Can you camp overnight at the Oceano Dunes State Vheicular Recreation Area? Q. I'm sure you can. But what I really want to know is do I have to take my car on the dunes or can I leave it parked somewhere and just walk to the Recreation Area to camp? Asked by Duco - Sat Jun 6 22:24:13 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Day use is $5 and you can stay until 11 p.m. A camping pass costs $10. Summer is busy and you should make reservations early. Book online at: Or, call 800-444-PARK. YES, you can take your car on the beach. In fact, if you don't you will have trouble finding a street parking space where you won't be towed and you will have to walk one mile or more to the overnight camping area to the south. Your car should be suited for driving in deep sand (4x4, or at least high clearance and fat tires recommended). I have to write an essay on the recreation of extinct species. I play the role of a victim and I have to provide three points on why it is bad. any answers? Asked by Dora - Sun Apr 23 15:38:37 2006 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Extinct species, if not extinct by human activity (shooting them, cutting their forests down, etc.), have extinct for a reason - they did not fit well to the enviournment. Recreation of such species may destabilize the delicate balance of nature. Moreover, any human interferance with nature, whether trying to do good or bad, can only harm it. There are two (1.5) reasons. I think you can start with these, and probably the rest will come to mind after writing this. If not, I believe that other people will have further ideas. Good luck! Answered by OR13 - Sun Apr 23 16:51:25 2006 What did soldiers do for fun/recreation during the Civil War?
Q. I need to make a list of things soldiers did for recreation during the civil war, during their down time. i have no idea though, so any help would be appreciated Asked by Ryan - Thu Sep 3 21:16:02 2009 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments A. I'm a civil war reenactor (Confederate) so I'd like to think I can speak to this pretty well. They ate as much and as often as they could, which wasn't always a lot, but they did have feasts at times. There were a lot of musicians with all kinds of instruments and they would sing and play a lot. A major event would be a dance of some kind if it could be arranged with some women. They would certainly drink alot. They smoked/chewed tobacco when they had it, made all kinds of personal craft items like boxes, figurines, pictures. Many of them would write a lot of letters or kept diaries. Some would read if they were able. The bible was very popular. Prostitution was a major industry wherever soldiers were, especially in Union armies.… [cont.] Answered by mambomike282 - Fri Sep 4 22:28:16 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Recreation"
